Lilacgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in large clumps that are flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, lilac tuft.
During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
