Copper Moss

This caramel and copper moss is commonly found blanketing large areas On trees, and In bogs.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is overwhelmingly strong.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
