Turquoise

This giant flower grows up to 7.1 feet (2.2 meters) tall. Its yellow stem is very thin and straight with a curved tip, and the huge, orange leaves are asymmetrical with wavy edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

3 to 6 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 33 cm (13.0 inches) wide, with solid turquoise petals and an azure central disk. The flower head is made up of 4 petals in raised layers. They detach easily.

It has a powerful scent that smells like bonfire smoke, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
