Redvine

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. Its red stems grow in bunches of 5 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the tiny, gray leaves are light lime green on the underside and are perforated with wavy edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Lots of medium-sized flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with alternating petals of red and grey, with a yellow central disk. The flower head is shaped like a trumpet with 36 raised, narrow petals. They fall easily.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like coffee, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
