Emerald Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This enormous, emerald grass grows up to 36 feet (11.0 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, faded yellow puff.

During the early winter, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.

It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
