Golden Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This big cactus grows up to 107 feet (32.6 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 2 very thin stems. Each stem is brown, and is covered in sharp spines. The round body is orange-yellow, and is covered in handfuls of rigid intense orange spines.

It is slow growing, taking 7 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with solid gold petals decorated with sky blue lines and a silver central disk grow at the top, reappearing after 9 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 34 curved petals. It has a powerful scent that smells like rich perfume.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the magenta flesh is smooth, and the cream sap is thin.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
