Crimson Vine

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters) and growing as high as 383 feet (116.7 meters).

It takes 3 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The fan-like, sticky leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are either cream or crimson, with magenta lines, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of giant caramel flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny fruits.
