Azurevine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 38 feet (11.6 meters) and growing as high as 655 feet (199.6 meters).

It takes 4 years for the vibrant blue stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The V-shaped, smooth leaves reach up to 7 inches (18 cm) in length. They are found in lilac, amber and hazel varieties, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of giant azure flowers.

It is suitable for making strong rope
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
The leaves are bland but very healthy.
