Copper-colored

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This big shrub grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 126 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous stocky, wonky stems covered in smooth, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is copper-coloured.

The branches are long, thin and wispy with dozens of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, long, narrow, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either cream or dark yellow, with amber splotches, robust and clammy.

In early summer it produces dozens of tiny, silver flowers with slender, pointed petals with a tube-like floral cup. They fall easily and have an intense scent that smells like lavender.

It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is suitable for making strong rope
