Blueberry Tree
Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This modest-sized fruit tree grows up to 18 feet (5.5 meters) tall and lives for up to 30 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 40 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has a long and flexible, angular trunk covered in rough, silver and white bark, and inside, the flexible wood is white with black speckles.
The sparse amount of branches are short, rigid and upright and are covered with small amounts of tiny, thick leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in bold blue, orange and washed-out purple varieties.
In early spring, it produces lots of tiny, peach blossoms with slender, pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a delicate scent that smells like mint.
In early autumn it produces , spherical fruit. The hairy lime skin is peel-able and edible when boiled; it is bitter and salty, and the very soft blue flesh is bitter and spicy and syrupy. The bronze seeds are tiny and are scattered throughout the fruit.
The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with clear space between them.
It is suitable for making strong rope
every part of the creeper is overwhelmingly toxic.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
