Caramel

This large caudiciform grows up to 91 feet (27.7 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stem is hazel and moss green, and is covered in brittle white spines. It has a wavy, flat, orange trunk atop a wide platform of cracked, exposed roots. The branches are thin and amber and trail down across the ground.

The smooth-edged, spear shaped leaves are solid caramel or aquamarine, with deep yellow splotches. They are frail, but do not detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 19 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid pink petals decorated with blood red dots and a aquamarine central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is made up of 4 petals in raised layers. It has a weak scent that smells like perfume.

The caudiciform's skin is tough, the brilliant orange flesh is smooth, and the turquoise sap is thin.
