Greyfern

This dark grey moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs, In rainforests, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is large, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very frail.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores.
