Copper Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 9 feet (2.7 meters) and growing as high as 14 feet (4.3 meters).

It takes 2 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The wide, waxy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are either peach, or purple with beige streaks, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a handful of small light grey flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of large seed pods.

It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
