Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This massive cactus grows up to 134 feet (40.8 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 5 fan-like stems. Each stem is violet or aquamarine, and is covered in sharp spines. The tear-shaped body is yellow-green, and is covered in brittle yellow spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 21 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with pale red petals and a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 9 petals in raised layers. It has a delicate scent that smells like fruity.
The cactus's skin is delicate, the washed-out orange flesh is rough, and the orange sap is thin.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
