Aquamarine

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 30 feet (9.1 meters) and growing as high as 130 feet (39.6 meters).

It takes 17 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are thick and twisted.

The long, tapering, leathery leaves reach up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) in length. They are peach on the edges and aquamarine at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces several tiny indigo flowers.
