Turquoise Puffgrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in large clumps that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, turquoise puff.

During the early winter, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
Several parts of the flower have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
