Climbing Turquoise Grass

This enormous, gray-green grass grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are light and frail and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, turquoise flower.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.
