Copper Creeper

This short creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 13 feet (4.0 meters) and growing as high as 83 feet (25.3 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 2 months for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and woody.

The perforated, leathery leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are a shade of copper or lime that gradient shifts to brown at the top, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several average slate flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of small berries.
