Aquamarine Petal

Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This large flower grows up to 5.3 feet (1.6 meters) tall. Its yellow-green stem is very thin and straight, and the miniature, yellow leaves are white on the underside and are very thin with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

Each stem splits 6 to 10 times; a single giant flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 33 cm (13.0 inches) wide, with aquamarine petals and a yellow center. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 19 widely spaced, narrow petals. They are very delicate.

It has an intensely strong scent that smells like fruity, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a variety of insects.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
The leaves are bland but very healthy.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
