Coppergrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This large, copper grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The very thick stalks grow in extensive patches that are flexible and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, aquamarine flower.
During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.
The sap is grey.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
