Red Flame Moss

This red moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In marshes.
It is large, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is overwhelmingly delicate.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It blooms only at night.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
