Indigo Vine

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 44 feet (13.4 meters) and growing as high as 239 feet (72.8 meters).

It takes 4 years for the cyan stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The sickle shaped, leathery leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are silver on the sides and beige at the center, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many average indigo flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of large seed pods.
