Sunfire Grass
Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized, orange-yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, yellow spikelet.
During the mid-summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.
The leaves are bland but very healthy.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
