Bittervine

This short bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 13 feet (4.0 meters) and growing as high as 96 feet (29.3 meters).

It takes 2 months for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are flat and wavy.

The triangular, smooth leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are a shade of white that gradient shifts to bold orange at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces dozens of average indigo flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny berries.
