Sunfire Moss

Moss type: Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainforests, and In bogs.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very delicate.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It comes in 10 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
All parts of the moss are edible.
