Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)

This small, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in small clumps that are flexible and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, purple puff.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.

It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
