Blue Vine

This small creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 13 feet (4.0 meters) and growing as high as 149 feet (45.4 meters).

It takes 5 months for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The broad, flat, smooth leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are either bronze, or lime with pale red lines, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces dozens of average sky blue flowers.
