Magenta Petalvine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its dark grey or purple stem is very thick, and the huge, red leaves are dark gray-green and gentle green on the underside and are wide with jagged edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Dozens of medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 8 cm (3.1 inches) wide, with petals that are blue in the center, cream in the middle and magenta at the edges. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 petals. They detach easily.

It has a weak scent that smells like something putrid, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
The bark, wood and leaves are edible.
Before maturity, it can grow 0 per day.
