Peach Spire Succulent
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This short leaf succulent grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The wide stem is sky blue, and is covered in brittle brown spines. The ripped-edged, slender, pointed leaves are peach and bronze. Copious amounts of them grow from the base like rose petals. The leaves are hardy, but are very difficult to pull away.
It is slow growing, taking 6 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are caramel on the underside and azure on the top grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 43 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cube. It has an overpowering scent that smells like leather.
The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the peach flesh is rubbery, and the brown sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.
