Violet Tuft Grass
Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in large clumps that are delicate and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, violet tuft.
During the mid-autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.
The sap is copper.
It is suitable for making strong rope
