Aquamarine Bellflower

This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 97 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous long and flexible, straight stems covered in thin, ridged, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is burgundy-brown.

The branches trail down to the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of small, spear shaped, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are crimson and orange, hardy and rough.

In late spring it produces large amounts of large, aquamarine flowers with 8 pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have the faintest scent that smells like citrus.
