Bronze Spine Cactus

This small cactus grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The very thin stem is moss green, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid bronze spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with each petal a slightly different shade of subtle orange, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like citrus.

The cactus's skin is thick, the indigo flesh is leathery, and the caramel sap is thin.
