Vinepine

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized tree grows up to 14 meters (45.9 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 615 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, straight trunk covered in cracked, dark green bark, and inside, the soft wood is pine-coloured.

The excessive amount of branches are very long and slender and are covered with thick bunches of covered in fine hairs, tiny, asymmetrical leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are solid blue or turquoise, with intense purple patches.

In late summer it forms small, caramel seed pods.

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It coexists peacefully with other plants.
The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
