Coppergrass

This big, copper grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The crescent-shaped stalks grow in large clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, grey spikelet.

During the mid-summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.
