Waterbase Shrub

This big shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 149 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has several wide, slanted stems covered in delicate, knobbly, brown bark, and the wood inside is pale yellow.

The branches are long and slender with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of tiny, crescent-shaped, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are bronze on the edges and dull green at the center, resilient and rough.

It produces dozens of tiny, light grey flowers with teardrop-shaped petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like petrol. In late summer it forms largegrey, tough-shelled seeds.
