Violet Firebloom

This big flower grows up to 3.8 feet (1.2 meters) tall. Its violet stem is thin and straight with a curved tip, and the huge, emerald and moss green leaves are thick with ripped edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 32 cm (12.6 inches) wide, with petals that are either black or azure, with a yellow center. The flower head is largely flat with many tightly layered round-tipped petals. They are hardy.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like bonfire smoke, and it has a fair amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.
