Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short fruit tree grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for up to 40 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 57 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a sturdy, curved trunk covered in hard, silky, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is burgundy.

The numerous branches are very long, thin and wispy and are covered with handfuls of small, spear shaped leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are azure and magenta.

In early spring, it produces a handful of medium-sized, caramel blossoms with finger-like petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have an intensely strong scent that smells like cheese.

In early winter it produces small, slender, 2 pointed fruit. The clammy peach skin is tough and inedible, and the very soft gentle purple flesh is bitter and syrupy. The slate seeds are large and are bunched at the bottom of the fruit.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.
