Watergrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This average-sized, pink-red grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The kidney-shaped stalks grow in sparse patches that are durable and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, cream flower.
During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
