Caramel Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 22 feet (6.7 meters) and growing as high as 26 feet (7.9 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 4 months for the caramel stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The triangular, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are black and cream, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the vine produces lots of average slate flowers.

It comes in 5 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
