Twinepine

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 40 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous wide, straight stems covered in cracked, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is yellow.

The branches are short stubs with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of huge, finger-like, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are yellow on the sides and blue at the center, sturdy and crispy.

It produces several large, pastel orange flowers with circular petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a delicate scent that smells like freshly washed clothes. In midwinter it forms medium-sizedmuted red, spiky-shelled seeds.

It can absorb up to 18 times its own weight in water.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
