Twistvine

This short bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 22 feet (6.7 meters)0.

It takes 7 months for the orange-yellow and olive stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are thick and twisted.

The fan-like, rough leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are either violet or blood red, with turquoise splotches, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces large amounts of average slate flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of very large berries.
