Aquamarine Sunflower

This huge flower grows up to 10.2 feet (3.1 meters) tall. Its moss green stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 3 and are very thin and straight, and split into dozens of branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the giant, yellow leaves are thin with ripped edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

4 to 7 giant flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 76 cm (29.9 inches) wide, with aquamarine petals on the lower layer and subtle red petals decorated with magenta dots on the inner layer. The central disk is sky blue. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. They are sturdy.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like coffee, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.
