Coppervine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This massive bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,451 feet (1,051.9 meters) and growing as high as 288 feet (87.8 meters).
It takes 2 years for the orange stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3.6 feet (1.1 meters) and are rough and gnarled.
The pleated, leathery leaves reach up to 1.9 feet (58 cm) in length. They are solid copper or muted purple, with lime splotches, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces thousands of average vivid green flowers.
