Aquaflame Tree

This large fruit tree grows up to 32 feet (9.8 meters) tall and lives for up to 15 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 18 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a flexible, straight trunk covered in thin, waxy, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the light wood is light brown.

The small bunches of branches trail down across the ground and are covered with very large amounts of giant, 3 pointed leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are solid muted red or aquamarine, with lilac streaks.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of medium-sized, orange blossoms with triangular shaped petals. They fall easily and have an intense scent that smells like vanilla.

In early autumn it produces , T-shaped fruit. The fuzzy aquamarine skin is delicate and sweet and sour, and the crunchy bronze flesh is sour and sticky. The blood red seed is large and sits at the end of the fruit.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.
