Red Clinger Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small, red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, grey tuft.

During the early summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
Several parts of the creeper have medicinal properties.
