Coppergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This massive, copper grass grows up to 23 feet (7.0 meters) tall. The oblong stalks grow in large clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, red tuft.
During the early autumn, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
It is suitable for making strong rope
