Emerald Marsh Moss

This white moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In marshes, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is large, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is extremely resilient.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
