Emerald Clump Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In rainy mountain ranges, and In moorlands.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely durable.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores.
