Twistvine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its silver stem is thick, and the tiny, silver leaves are brown on the underside and are spear shaped with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Each stem splits 3 to 8 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of pink. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 35 tightly layered, narrow petals. They detach easily.

It has the faintest scent that smells like rotten meat, and it has very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
