Ropevine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters) and growing as high as 114 feet (34.7 meters).

It takes 9 months for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The needle-like, rough leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are either beige or crimson, with azure dots, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces lots of average florescent purple flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a few small seed pods.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
